Youth Group
The youth of our parish have said they would like:
- To be involved in activities that help them to live their Catholic faith, not just talk about it.
- To do a few fun things too!.
- Allow friends of any faith to come along!
Given this, our Youth Group meets the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Thursdays of each month. Our group is for all in 6th through 12th grade. All members, plus any friends are welcome to come together for prayer, discussion and comradery.
Bonus… volunteer activities we participate in can be used on resumes and college applications….

Our Mother of Perpetual Help
The Confraternity of Our Mother of Perpetual Help is an international organization with roots dating back to the late 1800s. According to tradition, the original icon was created in Crete in the 14th century, was stolen, and was eventually brought to the church of St. Matthew in Rome. For 300 years it resided in that church and survived the church’s destruction by Napoleon’s army in the late 1700s. Pope Pius IX entrusted the original icon to the Redemptorists in 1866 and with it the responsibility of “making her known throughout the world.” As a result, this image of Mary is the most recognizable image of the Mother of God in the world. Today the original icon is permanently enshrined in the Church of St. Alphonsus Liguori in Rome, Italy. Hundreds of thousands of people gather for the weekly devotions in honor of Our Mother of Perpetual Help in Redemptorists churches and parishes all over the world.
Under this Confraternity: Members are assured of the constant protection of Our Mother of Perpetual Help. Members are endowed with an influence almost miraculous for the softening and converting of obstinate sinners. Members share in the indulgences and spiritual privileges granted to the members of the archconfraternity in Rome. Finally, by the express will of the Superior General of the Redemptorist Fathers and brothers, the members have a special share in the fruits and merits of the missions, pious exercises, apostolic labors, prayers, penances, and other good works without exception which are performed by the entire congregation of the Redemptorist Fathers and Brothers.
The ministry commits time to weekly Holy Hours completing devotions, scripture readings, and Holy Rosaries for parishioners and Father Marek. They also lead our congregation in the Holy Rosary before Saturday Mass.
As members of the Confraternity, they are often praying simultaneously with Catholics around the world. All prayers are more efficacious when prayed in this manner.
The group gathers to pray on Mondays at 11am.

Heart of My Heart Miscarriage and Infant Loss Support
Heart of My Heart is a Diocesan ministry for those who have suffered the unthinkable loss of miscarriage, stillbirth or infant loss. We are so terribly sorry, for your pain, for your despair, for your anger, for your sorrow.
This group understands because they have been there. It is the courageous families who drank from the cup of infant loss, who have inspired the development of this ministry.
You are loved, you are not alone in your loss, and God’s mercy is infinite.
